- HIGH RESOLUTION CAMERA FOR 3D LASER VIBROMETER. The solicitation number is FA8601-08-T-0081. The NAICS Code is 334513. The size standard is 500 employees. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The proposed source is Polytec Laser Measurement Systems. The purchase is for two stand-alone cameras with high resolution for 3D laser vibrometer. The camera will be used for precise 3-D alignment and superpositioning of the three lasers during PSV-440-3D and PSV-400-3D-M system measurements. Polytec Laser Measurement Systems is the only known manufacturer that can provide a high resolution camera for use with the PSV-400-3D-M laser vibrometer system owned by the Air Force Institute of Technology and which meets the Government's requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
