- DESCRIPTION - This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC). The solicitation number for this request is 201818Q028, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is set aside for Small Business. The NAICS 332999 with a size standard of 500 employees. Quotations from Small and Large Businesses will be accepted. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service encourages the participation of small, disadvantaged, veteran and women-owned businesses. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service,San Bernard National Wildlife Refuge complex has a requirement for culvert supplies. The Government intends to issue a contract to the responsible offeror whose total offer represents the best value for the Government, price and other factors considered. Prices must include all costs for materials and equipment necessary for the supply and delivery of the culvert supplies. The magnatude is $25,000 - $75,000. LEGAL OBLIGATIONS - The contractor shall be responsible for the observance of law ordinances, statutes and regulations pertaining to the delivery of culvert supplies. RULES AND REGULATIONS - The contractor shall conduct work in the conformance with such appropriate Refuge regulations as the Manager may prescribe, and shall also conduct the operation as not to interfere with or endanger the ordinary use of structures, roads, utilities, and other Refuge facilities. Equipment operations and materials shall be confined to the limits defined by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Special attention should be given to the protection of facilities, wildlife and vegetation adjacent to the work areas. PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES - In addition, FAR provisions/clauses listed below apply.
