- The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 7 Network Logistics Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Shumaker, Ruth for Administration Management and General Management Consulting services. These services are in direct support of the Department of Veterans Affairs System-wide Ongoing System Assessment and Review Strategy (SOARS) for the Operating Room, Sterile Processing Distribution (SPD) areas, and Prosthetics located at VA Medical Center, 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30904-6285. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code is 541611 with a small business size standard of $7 million. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations; No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within (six) 6 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis.
