- Solicitation Number: FA8535-08001-BRAT-RFI Notice Type: Request for Information Synopsis: Request for Information Performance Based Logistics Benchtop Reconfigurable Automatic Tester CAUTION: This request for information/market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for performance based logistics support of the Benchtop Reconfigurable Automatic Tester (BRAT ® ). The level of security clearance for this requirement has not been determined. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. BRAT testers are commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) flexible test systems, based on an open architecture utilizing commercial equipment in a modular design. The attached chart shows model and quantity of BRAT testers. Our acquisition strategy will potentially include a three year basic contract with the possibility of award terms for up to five additional years of support. Interested contractors should respond IAW the instructions attached hereto. Responses are due by 4:00 pm EDT on 7 October 2008 to Randi Williams by email at randi.williams@robins.af.mil. An industry day may be held subsequent to this market survey.
