- The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division has requirements for the manufacture and delivery of MC1-1D, 35 FT. Troop Back Personnel Parachute, NSN 1670-01-487-0777, Part Number 11-1-900-3, Quantity 1,000 each with 2 options of 500 each; and MC1-1E, 35 FT. Troop Back Personnel Parachute, NSN 1670-01-499-6573, Part Number 11-1-900-4, Quantity 900 each with 3 options of 250 each. The Government anticipates that this acquisition will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The North American Industry Classification System, NAICS is 314999. This solicitation is open to both Large and Small Businesses. These items are listed on Qualified Products List (QPL) Number 6645. In order to receive a contract award, the Contractor must be listed as an approved Contractor on the Qualified Products List (QPL) when contract award is made. The units will be shipped to, SU Transportation Officer, DDSP, New Cumberland Facility, 2001 Normandy Drive, Door 113-134, New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002. Delivery will be 75 each per month and 75 per month thereafter until the contract is complete. The Request for Proposal along with drawings will be posted on the Natick website https://www3.natick.army.mil and ASFI website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/, ON OR ABOUT: September 18, 2008. The closing time and date for this Request for Proposal will be 30 days after release of the Request for Proposal. Firms will not be reimbursed for any costs associated with proposal preparation. Only virgin material is to be used in the manufacturing of these units. BERRY AMENDMENT WILL APPLY.
