- SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston intends to issue a sole source contract, inaccordance with FAR 6.302-1, to Harris Corporation, RF CommunicationsDivision, 1680 University Ave, Rochester, NY 14610, for secure wireless networkinterface devices and equipment including sixty (60) SECNET 54 encryptiondevices, two hundred thirty-five (235) circuit cards, thirty-five (35)interfaceunits, six (6) SECNET 54 key fill cables, and twenty-two (22) SECNET 11 Cableassemblies. This equipment is the only NSA approved secure wireless networkinterface device available for commercial procurement. Harris Corporation isthe sole manufacturer of equipment with NSA approval. A Commercial FirmFixed Price type contract is anticipated. The applicable North AmericanIndustryClassification System (NAICS) Code is 334220 and the size standard is 750employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.Anyquestions relating to this announcement are due no later than ten (10) daysfrom the date this notice is published.
