- This announcement constitues the Governments Notice of Intent to award on a sole source basis. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competetive proposals and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement reference number is: W91ZLK-08-T-0684. This requirement is being issued as a Notice of Intent that the Government intends to negotiate solely with Endevco under GSA contract GS-24F-1088B. This acquisition is to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Endevco as the only responsible source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 8.405-6, Limited Sources Justification and Approval. Presently, only Endevco transducers have been validated and possess the necessary compatibility with legacy data already collected for this and other life fire programs. Purchase of an unvalidated alternate transducer would compromise post test analysis by introducing a variable into testing.
