Description
This is a modification to a previous posting notice: The Naval Air Systems Command Precision Strike Weapons Program Office (PMA-201) anticipates posting the final Solicitation of Direct Attack Moving Target Capability (DAMTC), Solicitation N00019-08-R-0075 (previously cited as Solicitation N00019-08-P5-AZ038) to the following website: www.navair.navy.mil under “Business Opportunities” on or about 30 September 2008. All proposals will be due by 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, approximately 60 calendar days from the final release date. This solicitation has an estimated annual production rate of between 500 and 3,500 DAMTC solutions per option period. In addition, offerors will be required to qualify in accordance with the Production Acceptance Test and Evaluation (PATE) requirements provided in the DAMTC Performance Specification and DAMTC Statement of Objectives (SOO) as defined under the subject solicitation. This solicitation is to procure a DAMTC solution as a best value source selection to select the most advantageous offer based on price and non-price factors. Award will be made to the single offeror whose proposal is most advantageous to the Government based upon an integrated assessment of the evaluation factors and sub-factors described in the Solicitation. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price contract, with up to three (03) production options, in the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2009. All potential offerors must have a Department of Defense (DOD) Secret clearance to obtain the classified documents associated with this effort. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties in support of the effort mentioned above.
