This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation. Proposals are being requested under Solicitation No. HSCG23-08-R-TED309. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Command and Control Center located in Portsmouth, VA is seeking qualified sources capable of performing services for delivery of electronic charting and display information system monitors for its vessels. The United States Coast Guard buoys tending fleet of 225’ WLB and the 175’ WLM uses a commercial Electronic Charting and Display Information System (ECDIS) on its vessels. Our current platform requires five video display stations, one in a console positioned on the forward center of the bridge, two mounted to the overhead on the port and starboard bridge wings, one mounted in a console in the chartroom and one backup system mounted on the bulkhead in the chartroom. The Maritime community is increasingly upgrading to the use of flat screen LCD monitors. The goal of this project is to standardize the WLB/WLM fleet by fielding only one type of video monitor that will meet coast guard requirements for now and future systems. This acquisition is an unrestricted acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334119 applies. The Small Business Administration Size Standard is 1,000 employees. This procurement will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 12. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible bidder offeror conforming to the solicitation which will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
