- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for the following items described in support of Commander Fleet and Industrial Supply Centers (COMFISCS) in Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP). Commander Fleet and Industrial Supply Centers (COMFISCS) requires a portable 400 KVA isolation transformer with an input and output of 480 volts, 3 phase, 60 Hertz, and related accessories. The projected quantity is 5. All materials and parts comprising the system shall be new, of current design and manufacture, and shall not have been in prior service except as required for factory testing. TRANSFORMER REQUIREMENTS Type- Dry type, air cooled, natural draft (Class AA) for indoor and outdoor use in a marine shipyard environment. Shall comply with Underwriters Laboratories Standard 1561, Dry-Type General Purpose and Power Transformers or any other OSHA nationally recognized testing laboratory (NRTL), including, conditionally, the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). The condition is that if OSHA withdraws its preliminary approval of CSA as an NRTL prior to awarding of the transformer contract, any offeror of equipment for this specification and manufactured only to CSA will no longer be considered. NEMA Standard Publication No. 250, Enclosures for Electrical Equipment (1000 Volt Maximum) NOTE: FUNDS ARE CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. IF THE CONTRACTING OFFICER DOES NOT OBTAIN FUNDING BY 30 SEPTEMBER 2008, THE SOLICITATION WILL BE CANCELLED. OFFERED PRICING MUST REMAIN VALID UNTIL 1 OCTOBER 2008.
