- Seattle District requires maintenance hydraulic dredging of approximately 140,000 cubic yards of sediment from the upstream settling basin and downstream channel on the Snohomish River, Everett, WA. Dedged material shall be deposited onto an upland site owned by the City of Everett, known as the parcel O disposal site, previously owned by Kimberly Clark and approximately 35,000 cubic yards placed to nourish the Jetty Island protective berm. As part of the mobilization breaches in the permiter diking will be required using onsite and dredged materials at the O disposal site and temporary grading will be required on the Jetty Island sand berm to place dredged material to restore berm nourishment cross section against erosion. The magnitude of construction is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Project is open to both large and small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 with a size standard of $20 million. For the purposes of this procurement, a firm is a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $20 million. Follow the registration procedures at this site to receive notification of solicitation/amendment posting. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the solicitation will be available for download no earlier than 15 days following the posting of this synopsis. The response date (bid due date) of the solicitation is no earlier than 30 days from the date of the solicitation release date.
