- NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION (NOPCA). The Cryptologic Systems Group (CPSG) intends to award on a sole source basis, a firm-fixed price purchase order to the sole manufacturer, ActivIdentity, Inc., 6623 Dumbarton Circle, Fremont, CA 94555 for QTY 5,000 ActivIdentity Smartcards with ActivClient Profile for SPAWAR-NAVY (P/N: SC064JWC6025AIR), QTY 27,600 ActivIdentity Smartcards with ActivClient Profile for AF PKI SPO (P/N: SC064JWC6025AIR), QTY 7,500 ActivIdentity Smartcards with ActivClient Profile for the Office of Information Assurance & Compliance-Army (P/N: SC064JWC6025AIR) and QTY 7,500 ActivIdentity Smartcards WITHOUT ActivClient Profile for the Office of Information Assurance & Compliance-Army (P/N: SC064JWC0025AIR). This ActivIdentity product will be used within the CPSG/NIP, Alternative Token, IPT. These smart cards are formatted by ActivIdentity with java applets in order for Smart Card Logon (SCL) to work. The alternative token must be compatible with e! xisting Common Access Card (CAC) readers and middleware within the Air Force thus requiring the ActivIdentity java applets. These applets are proprietary to ActivIdentity. No other vendor possesses the applets. The government intends to fulfill this requirement with only one source in accordance with FAR 13.501(a). The Government contemplates to make an award by Sep 12, 2008. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify their interest and capability to the Contract Specialist by the required response date. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), or women owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned.
