- Overhaul of the Valve Assembly, Input NSN/Part Number 2995-01-460-1334/5066T38G07, Output NSN/Part Number 2995-01-460-1334/5066T38G07 The proposed contractual action will be a Five (5) year, Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity(IDIQ) maintenance and overhaul requirement contract, with a minimum quantity of 350 each and a maximum quantity of 2820 each. The maximum quantity includes a Foreign Military Sales estimated quantity of 470 each. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment and materials for the maintenance and overhaul of the items. There is a Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 1-2995-241, dated 30 September 1992, CHG2. However, the Valve Assembly is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and can only be procured from the approved sources. Approved sources for this item are AAR Aircraft Component, (CAGE 3Y015), TAT Technologies, (CAGE S4883), General Electric Company (Aircraft Engine Business Group), (CAGE 99207) and Honeywell International, Inc., (CAGE 59364). Firms are encouraged to seek approval in order to compete for this or future solicitations by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocates Shopping List (CASL) procedures. These procedures are outlined at the following web site: http://www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/. Submit request(s) for source approval to: Commander, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-MMC-AV-s, Building 5309, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. No telephone requests for solicitation will be accepted. Requests for solicitation will be data faxed or by mail ONLY. This requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiations.
