- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to acquire, on a sole source basis, doors, frames, hinges and locksets for NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic Public Works Department in Mechanicsburg, PA. These commercial supplies will be solicited in accordance with the information in FAR Part 13 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS Code is 321911 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The proposed sole source contractor, Overhead Door Company of Harrisburg - York, is believed to be the only supplier, in the Mechanicsburg area, with the ability to provide the required supplies immediately. The proposed firm fixed price contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Howeve! r, all information received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
