- The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System anticipates awarding a multiple award contract for licensed and approved Community Halfway House facilities to provide a supervised, alcohol and drug-free environment offering room and board, supportive Social Service, structured and group activities, physical activities, and individual counseling as required with special emphasis on vocational rehabilitation in collaboration with VA program resources to beneficiaries of the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System. Beneficiaries shall also receive basic health and personal hygiene maintenance, monitoring of medications and any other service or supplies normally provided without extra charge. The per diem rate established will be an all-inclusive rate. NAICS code number 623220 applies to this procurement. All information for this solicitation will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) at www.fbo.gov. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside. All prospective bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov/index.cfm. We anticipate issuing the solicitation on or about September 3, 2008 with a closing date on or about September 12, 2008.
