- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included within this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; information is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issues. The solicitation number for this procurement is FA4803-08-Q-B005 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24. For informational purposes the North American Industry Classification System code is 314912 - Purchase of Structures and Scaffolding. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. This is a firm-fixed price procurement, and will be procured using commercial item procedures and award selection will be made based on price alone. The following items are required: 1 each shelter 40' x 80' with 1 end panel 30" x 80" hard door centered, sets of ECU ports, Liner system, vinyl floor, lighting, electrical distribution system, side ECU ports with plenums (part number 4080S-2(Tan), 1 each 40' privacy curtain (White) to be used as screen to show films part # (AK-40-PC), 8 each environmental control unit 5 ton (Tan) part # (AK-ECU-5T-2), 4 each ECU double wood crate (AK-ECU-5DCRATE), 6 each wood crate part # (AK-WCRATE), 1 each shipping to Shaw AFB SC 29152. If or equal is submitted, contractor must submit all documentation concerning the "or equal" product. Evaluations will be performed on the or "Equal". The following FAR clauses and provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items. Late offers: Request for Quotations or modification of quotes received at the address specified for the receipt of offers after the exact time specified for receipt of offers will not be considered. Evaluation/Award: IAW FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a single contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.
