- DESC: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO Motorola toprovide the following items: Maintenance Services for the SmartZone 6.5 trunked Radio System, UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 13.106-1(b). The Regional Contracting Office, Southwest Region, Marine Corps Installations-West, Camp Pendleton, California intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to Motorola Federal Marketing Group, 7031 Columbia Gateway Drive, Columbia, Maryland 21046. The dollar value of the award is expected to be under $400,000.00. CLIN 0001, Maintenance-Dispatch Service includes technical support, on-site infrastructure response, and infrastructure repair CLIN 0002, Extended Coverage Site Maintenance includes site infrastructure repair, repair with advanced placement, network preventive maintenance, dispatch, and 24/7 technical support for all systems and sub-systems that comprise the SmartZone 6.5 system. CLIN 0003 Microwave Maintenance Services. The period of performance is one twelve month base period and two six month option periods. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists. No contract award will be made on the basis of any Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. This purchase will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 13.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is September 5, 2008.
