- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is 100 percent small business set-aside under NAICS code 339112, Size Standard 500. FAR provisions and clauses in this solicitation may be viewed at http://www.arnet.gov/far/. The requirements in this solicitation: Item 0001 Invivo MRI Compatible Patient Monitoring System, Precess MRI Patient Signs Monitor, Wireless 2.4 GHz Dual Lead ECG, Wireless 2.4 GHz Pulse Oximetry (Sp02), Non-Invasive Blood Pressure (NIBP), 3.0 Tesla ECG Filter, Integrated Edn-Tidal C02, Display Controller Unit (DCU), Item Number 865111, Quantity 1; Item 0002 Pneumatic Respiration, Item Number 3160-9-1, Quantity 1; Item 0003 Cardiovascular MRI ECG, Item Number 3160-8-1, Quantity 1; Item 0004 Anesthestic Agents, Item Number 3160-5-2, Quantity 1; Item 0005 Fiber Optic Temp, Item Number 3160-15-1, Quantity 1; Item 0006 Neonatal Option, Item Number 3160-14-1, Quantity 1; Item 0007 Dual Invasive BP, Item 3160-12-1, Quantity 1; Item 0008 Assembly Display Controller Unit (DCU) 3160DCU Recorder Dual Channel, Item Number 865112, Quantity 1; and Item 0009 CAB, Gating, Siemens, Item Number 989803152831, Quantity 1. Vendors offering other than the brand name product shall meet or exceed the following Salient Characteristics: System must: Be mobile, be compatible with up to 3 tesla magnets, be usable without compromise in up to 5,000 gauss magnet fields, perform wireless 2-channel electrocardiogram, perform wireless pulse oximetry, perform low-flow end tidal carbon dioxide monitoring, perform cardiac and peripheral gating, monitor anesthetic agents, monitor patient temperature monitor blood pressure non-invasively, monitor blood pressure invasively via two channels, monitor pneumatic respiration, include adult, pediatric, and neonatal grip sensors, include integrated dual-channel recorder, have 8-hour battery life, and have user changeable batteries. Delivery date is 30 days on receipt of order, FOB Destination. Place of delivery and acceptance is Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas 78234-6300. FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition to include the following addenda: All offerors are cautioned that if selected for award, they must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) program. The CCR can be accessed via the internet at www.ccr.gov/. Confirmation of CCR registration will be validated prior to award. This is currently an unfunded requirement subject to the availability of year end funds see FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds. Quotes shall be valid through 30 September 2008 so that, in the event funding is available, an order may be issued. Vendors shall comply with FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, if submitting other than the Brand Name product. Offers will be evaluated according to 52.212-2. Evaluation factors at 52.212-2 (a) are price and conformance to salient characteristics outlined in this solicitation.
