- Supply: The Air Force intends to issue a sole source award to SULZER METCO, for the following products: Part numbers 1003573, 1003477, 1003264, and 1003261. These parts are to be used as replacement parts for thermal spray equipment used on Tinker AFB, OK. The estimated award date is 15 Sep 2008. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333513 with an SBA size standard of 500 employees. THIS IS SOLE SOURCED TO SULZER METCO, DUE TO RECCOMENDATIONS BY THE SYSTEM MANUFACTURER, PROGRESSIVE TECHNOLOGIES. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(2)(iii)(A). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals will be considered within 5 days after the publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Authority is 10 USC 2304 (c) (1).
