- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 221310 and small business size standard $7.0 million. (v) Installation, consultation and startup of 2 Svern Trent 75 ppd sodium hypochlorite generators OR EQUAL. Engineering & Documentation: Contractor will provide four (4) hard copy and one (1) electronic set of Shop Drawing & Product Data submittals. Also, Four (4) paper copy and one (1) electronic copy of operation and maintenance manuals; Startup and Training: Contractor to provide seven (7) eight-hour man days to perform startup and commissioning and one (1) eight hour man day training session for owners operating personnel. Exact specifications as attachment. (vi) Delivery is to take place 30 days ARO. FOB Destination is preferred to Vandenberg AFB CA, 93437 (vii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (viii) 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price. (ix) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, or complete on ORCA website: http://orca.bpn.gov/ with its offer.
