- Solicitation Number: FDA-SOL-08-EPLATFORM Title: Business Model for Partnerships to Develop and Implement An Electronic Data Exchange Project Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Synopsis: This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 - Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resultant purchase order will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 05-26. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: A written solicitation will not be issued. The purpose of this synopsis is to notify contractors that the Government intends to issue a Purchase Order in accordance with FAR Part 13.106 for the services provided in the enclosed Statement of Work (SOW). Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation and any amendments. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps website for the release of any amendments to this solicitation. The Government reserves the right to award a contract without discussions if the Contracting Officer determines that the initial quotation(s) is/are providing the Best Value and discussions are not necessary. The designated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541690 – Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services. This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in providing advice and assistance to businesses and other organizations on scientific and technical issues (except environmental). The Small Business Size Standard is $6.5 Million. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ).
