- Description
- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-08-RP-0227 for the following service:The contractor shall be required to provide on-site inscription services (U1) on pre-set blank upright marble headstones at Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois. This contract shall be F.O.B. Destination. The inscriptions shall be completed within ten (10) days following receipt of order. Potential offerors shall submit, at contractor expense, one marble inscription sample, in accordance with the specifications listed in the solicitation. This sample shall be received and approved prior to the closing date of the solicitation. The contractor shall be responsible for coordinating with the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) prior to performing work at the cemetery: Evaluation criteria for this award will be considered in the following order: 1) Past Performance, 2) Technical Qualifications, and 3) Price. This contract will be for a base period with three (3) options years, if exercised, award effective October 1, 2008. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS Code is 327991. Size standard is 500 employees. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from www.fbo.gov on or about September 2, 2008. Responses to the solicitation are due on or about September 15, 2008 (2pm). Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining amendments. See Numbered Note 29.
