Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Privatized Corrections Contracting (PCC), Washington, D.C. intends to issue solicitation RFQ-TDAT-004-9, for the requirement of community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services. Mental Health Services will need to be provided for those inmates that are diagnosed with a major mental illness and(or) whose functioning is significantly reduced by mental illness or cognitive impairment. Services will need to be performed at a location that is within 10-miles of the McCabe Center, 1915 E. Martin Luther King, Austin, TX 78702 or located approximately two block away from public bus transportation that is capable of providing transportation to within 10-miles of the McCabe Center. The solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one base year to begin on December 1, 2008, with four (4) one-year option periods, ending (if all options years are renewed) on November 30, 2013. The solicitation is for a firm fixed price, requirements contract. The government will award to the responsible offeror whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, is considered most advantageous to the government with price and technical requirements considered. Technical requirements will be rated on a pass or fail basis. The services shall be in accordance with the FBOP’s Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated May 2007. This solicitation will be made available on or about August 29, 2008 and will be posted on the General Services Administration’s website for Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizzOpps) at http://www.fedbizzopps.gov. Future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed through FedBizzOpps. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure they have the most current information about this solicitation. The estimated closing date for the solicitation is on or about October 25, 2008. Payment will be made by electronic funds transfer. Each offer is required per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)52.212-3 to complete Representations and Certifications via the On-Line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov.
