- The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) located on the National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) in Bethesda, MD intends to issue a requirement for Cisco Equipment. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to monitor Federal Business Opportunities, http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ for the issuance of any changes/updates to the solicitation. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation and incorporates all provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-26. Quote Format: The contractor shall provide pricing for each Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) as listed on the attached document. Delivery and Acceptance Location, and FOB Point, Destination: Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences 4301 Jones Bridge Road, Loading Dock Bethesda, MD 20814-4799 Description of Use: The Cisco Equipment is required to continue the upgrade of the high speed USUHS internal network. This is the 6th year of expansion Minimum Specifications: Minimum specifications to all CLINS. Contractor must be a Cisco Gold Partner. USUHS requires a full spectrum of life cycle services: Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate and Optimize. USUHS support in these areas should come from Cisco certified specialists in the areas of advanced routing and switching, advanced security, advanced unified communications, and advanced wireless LAN. Vendors should also have achieved a measurable level of customer satisfaction consistent with Cisco Gold-Certified partner status such as (1) electronic access to the Cisco support system and internal databases for faster trouble isolation and resolution and (2) the same level of access to Cisco technology as the original manufacturer to ensure the most current tech watch and training information is available. No refurbished parts. Evaluation Factors: The government will award a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to this announcement, will be most advantageous to the government; prices and other factors considered, e.g. quality and delivery schedule. Offerors must provide specifications and/or literature documentation. Requirements: 1) To be eligible for contract award, a contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
