- Description
- The Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Division intends to acquire various urinalysis testing services to detect and deter illegal drug usage by its civilian employees. This is for the collection of urine specimens from DON civilians and applicants for DON Testing Designated Positions (TDPs) and the testing will be required at CONUS and OCONUS. There are approximately 1,291 naval shore activities worldwide employing 188,000 civilian employees and approximately 45,000 TDPs that are located worldwide. This contract is a follow-on to contract#N00600-4-D-0040. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate competitively. This is a competitive, unrestricted action. The placement of a firm fixed price contract from 01 January 2009 through 31 December 2009, plus four one-year options ending 31 December 2013, if all options are exercised, is anticipated. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued to Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) https://www.neco.navy.mil under solicitation N00189-08-R-Z071on or around 23 September 2008.
