- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-08-Q-5172. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase on a Sole Source Basis from National Instruments the following items: CLIN 0001 Power Cord P/N 763000-01 Qty. 2 CLIN 0002 NI PXI 8-Slot Front Rack Mount Kit P/N 778643-01 Qty. 4 CLIN 0003 NI PXI 8-Slot Rear Rack Mount Kit P/N 778643-02 Qty. 4 CLIN 0004 PXI 8-Slot Factory Installation Service and Extended Warranty P/N 960597-08 Qty. 2 CLIN 0005 NI PXI-1042Q Quiet 8-Slot Chassis P/N 778636-02 Qty. 2 CLIN 0006 NI PXI-2594 2.5 GHz 4x1 Multiplexer P/N 778572-94 Qty. 4 CLIN 0007 NI PXI 8108 Core Duo 2.53 GHz Controller with Windows Vista P/N 780446-01 Qty. 2 CLIN 0008 PXI 5660 RF Signal Analyzer P/N 778284-02 Qty. 1 CLIN 0009 Service Subscription Qty. 1 CLIN 0010 Shipping Qty. 1. Required delivery is by 30 SEP 2008, F.O.B. Destination NUWC Newport Shipboard Electronics Systems Evaluation Facility Virginia Beach, VA. It is expected to place a purchase order with National Instruments Corporation as they are the only known source for these items because there are no other sources that can meet the required specifications of the NI PXI-5660 model. All other timely offers will be considered. Offers for other products must contain complete product information and prices. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation--Commercial Items. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Each is equally important.
