- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to procure on a sole source basis from American Microwave Corportation 7311-G Grove Rd Frederick MD 21704-4938, the sole source manufacturer. This requirement is for a Firm Fixed-Price contract to acquire Quantity 13 - AMC Model Number DVAT-0518-60-8-SK-196 Option 2056 (Optimized for 2.5 to 6 GHz Frequency) Variable Attenuators. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. FOB Destination, Dahlgren, VA shall apply. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The quote number is N00178-08-Q-3034 and is a request for quote. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. A written request for quote will not be issued as all items are identified in this synopsis. Quote is due 8 September 2008, no later than 2:00 pm (local NSWCDD time) with an anticipated award date by 22 September 2008.
