- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS (THIS IS NOT A REQUIREMENT FOR A PROPOSAL): This synopsis is issued to conduct market research to identify potential sourcs capable of meeting the requirement is to design, manufacture, verify, and document night vision goggle (NVG) compatible lighting systems for the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) Block 32C and Block 52C F-16 aircraft. The lighting systems will be supplied in kit form, where all of the items required to modify the aircraft are supplied in a single package. The kits will be baselined from those developed for the United States Air Force (USAF) Block 30C and Block 50C F-16 aircraft under a previously awarded USAF contract. Kit proofing efforts (verification) in Korea will be required for one (1) ROKAF Block 32C and one (1) ROKAF Block 52C aircraft. After delivery of production kits, installation assistance in Korea for two (2) ROKAF Block 32C and two (2) ROKAF Block 52C aircraft will also be required. On-call support to the ROKAF as they complete installation of the kits on their remaining F-16C aircraft will also be required.
