- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Dugway Proving Ground, Directorate of Contracting is contemplating the purchase, delivery and cylinder rental of ten (10) various Speciality Gases, to include Compressed Air, Carbon Dioxide, Helium Ultra High Purity, Helium High Purity, Helium Bulk, Hydrogen Ultra High Purity, Nitrogen Ultra High Purity, Ethanedithiol, Sulfur Hexafluoride (SF6) and Bulk Nitrogen. This service will consist of a one-year (12 month) base period and four (4) each one-year (12 month) option periods. Note: Due to the nature of the required specifications, the number of required gases and the estimated usages of gases per year, it is not feasible to include this information on the Synopsis / Solicitation. For detailed information, please refer to Solicitation number W911S6-08-T-0071, found on the Governments web site, ASFI (Army Single Face to Industry). Submit written offers (oral offerers will not be accepted), on W911S6-08-T- 0071. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). North American Industrial Classification Standard 325120 (1,000 employees) applies to this procurement.
