- The work includes hydraulic dredging and material placement for the purposes of emergency repairs at an approximately 700-foot breach of the Hunt and Lima Lake levee along the Mississippi River, at approximate river mile 343 just downstream from Lock and Dam 20. Arrangements for inspecting the site may be made with, Ms. Barbara Lester, Central Area Office, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 5235 Grand Avenue, Davenport, IA 52807-1014, Telephone: (563) 386-0572 or (563) 386-0651 (Collect calls not accepted). The solicitation will be available on August 29, 2008. Proposals will be due at noon on September 05, 2008.
