- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award an order to SkillSoft Corporation for the acquisition of the Leadership Development Channel, delivered on the Books 24x7 platform for up to 115,000 users. This channel will be added to the current SkillSoft E-Learning Program in support of the IRS and all other bureaus within the Department of Treasury. Vendors who can provide the required product at prices, terms and conditions equal to or better than those which can be provided by SkillSoft Corporation should submit clear and convincing data in writing substantiating an ability to furnish this requirement. Any vendor wishing to respond to this offer must also provide clear and convincing evidence that his products and services are compatible with the existing software products currently supplied by SkillSoft for the IRS. Responses to this notice must be received by this office by 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 4, 2008. Any responses should be sent to: Internal Revenue Service, National Office Procurement, 6009 Oxon Hill Road, Room 500, Oxon Hill, MD 20745, Attn: Leona M. Brown, OS:A:P:I:F:B. Responses will also be accepted by facsimile at (202)283-4427 and by e-mail to leona.m.brown@irs.gov. All responses must arrive at the place and by the time specified above and may not exceed 5 pages. No solicitation document exists for this requirement. Requests for same will be considered non-responsive. The reference number for this announcement is H-8-H8-01-PA-A01 001. If no compelling responses are received, award will be made to SkillSoft Corporation.
