- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Simplified procedures as described in FAR 13.5 will be used for this acquisition of these commercial items. This is a Request for Proposal numbered N00421-08-R-0099. This solicitation document and the incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement Change Notice 20080722. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Atlantic Test Range, A/C Signature and Avionics Measurement Branch located at Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for 13 each, Frequency Synthesizers over a 5 year period of performance. This procurement shall be competed on a full and open competitive basis under NAICS 334419 with a size standard of 500 employees. The specific requirement is as follows: Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract with a Base Year and Four one-year Options; Estimated Contract Period of Performance: 30 September 2008 through 29 September 2013. See attached Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items Standard Form 1449 and Technical Specifications. ALL INTERESTED COMPANIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS. IN ADDITION, COMPANIES NEED TO ENSURE THEIR PROPOSALS MEET AND ADDRESS ALL THE REQUIREMENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) TERMS. Proposals shall be submitted via e-mail to katherine.lang@navy.mil or mail to address specified in block 9, Issued by block of attached Standard Form 1449 not later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 04 September 2008.
