Description
This is a sources sought notice. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Artesia, New Mexico intends to award an IDIQ firm fixed contract for the delivery of cardboard targets on 275-C corrugated material for law enforcement officer firearms training courses at the FLETC and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). FLETC Target Codes and Descriptions are as follows: 1. Transitional Target-2, Blue with Neck Line, Special Cut, 38-5/8” X 24”, to have a 1/2 inch round hole centered at the top of target and two 3/4 inch deep X 3/8 inch wide, 6 and 1/8 inches apart – centered at the bottom of the target, FLETC Code CB. 2. Transitional Target-1, Green, 38-5/8” X 18”, to have a 1/2 inch round hole centered at the top of target and two 3/4 inch deep X 3/8 inch wide, 6 and 1/8 inches apart – centered at the bottom of the target, FLETC Code CBT1. 3. Transitional Target-3, Light Blue, Special Cut, 38-5/8” X 24”, to have a 1/2 inch round hole centered at the top of target and two 3/4 inch deep X 3/8 inch wide, 6 and 1/8 inches apart – centered at the bottom of the target, FLETC Code CBT3. 4. Transitional Target-2, Blue with Neck Line, 24-1/2” X 48”, FLETC Code LCB. 5. Transitional Target-1, Blue, 24” X 48”, FLETC Code LCT1. 6. TQ-15, Tan, (USBP), 24” X 48”, FLETC Code LT15. 7. TQ-15, Black, (USBP), 24” X 48”, FLETC Code LTQN. 8. Two Prints of TQ15 Reduced, Tan, (USBP), 16” X 48”, FLETC Code LTR2. 9. Transitional Target-3, Light Blue, 24” X 48”, FLETC Code LTT3. 10. TQ-15, Black, (USBP), 24” X 38-5/8”, Special Cut, to have a 1/2 inch round hole centered at the top of target and two 3/4 inch deep X 3/8 inch wide, 6 and 1/8 inches apart – centered at the bottom of the target, FLETC Code TQ-N. 11. TQ-15, Tan, (USBP), 24” X 38-5/8”, Special Cut, to have a 1/2 inch round hole centered at the top of target and two 3/4 inch deep X 3/8 inch wide, 6 and 1/8 inches apart – centered at the bottom of the target, FLETC Code TQCB. 12. Reduced TQ-15, Tan, (USBP), 16” X 39, to have a 1/2 inch round hole centered at the top of target and two 3/4 inch deep X 3/8 inch wide, 6 and 1/8 inches apart – centered at the bottom of the target, FLETC Code TQR2. The Government anticipates awarding the contract for a 12 month base period beginning October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009 with a one year option. The maximum estimated quantity has yet to be determined. A delivery time of 10 days after receipt of each individual order will be required. Target samples will be requested prior to award. The NAICS code is 323112, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This sources sought notice is being issued to determine whether or not to set aside the acquisition for HUBZone concerns, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns (SDVOSB), or Small Business Concerns. In accordance with FAR 19.1305, if your company is HUBZone certified or IAW 19.1405, if your company is SDVOSB and intends to submit an offer for this acquisition, then those interested parties should indicate their interest to the Contract Specialist, in writing, no later than 4:30 p.m., MST, September 1, 2008. The following information is required: (1) a copy of the certificate issued by the SBA of your qualifications as a HUBZone concern or a statement that you are a SDVOSB, and (2) a statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a prime contractor, (3) evidence of experience in similar type supply to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact with telephone numbers. All information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested HUBZone concerns or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested HUBZone concern or SDVOSB. If adequate interest is not received from HUBZone concerns and SDVOBs by September 1, 2008, a combined synopsis/solicitation will be issued as a Small Business Set-Aside without further notice.
