- SOLICITATION NO. 301819B001 PROJECT TITLE: Construction of a Marina Breakwater PROJECT LOCATION: U.S. Fish & Wildlife ServiceCrab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge6987 Headquarters RoadMarion Illinois, IL 62959 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: To Construct a Marina Breakwater, contractor will need to mobilize and demobilize all equipment and personnel necessary to successfully complete the work. Mobilization shall include: Site preparation, Demobilization shall include: Site restoration. Contractor shall provide Core Stone: This Item includes placing riprap in specific locations outlined in the drawings. Contractor shall provide Armor Stone: This item includes placing riprap in specific locations as outlines in the drawings. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $100,000 to $250,000. This procurement 100% set-aside exclusively for Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HubZone) Small Business concern. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a size standard of $31 Million Dollars. The Solicitation Package will be available via electronic commerce at http://ideas.nbc.gov and http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about September 16, 2008. BIDS are due on October 16, 2008 2:30PM (CDT). The Solicitation package shall include the following: An itemized Scope of Work, Drawings, and Prevailing Wage Determination. Please ensure you have a complete downloaded Solicitation Package before submitting your BID and other requested supporting documents.
