The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which theGovernment intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limitednumber of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested personsmay identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirementor submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request forcompetitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fortyfive-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basicordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will beconsidered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not tocompete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice issolely within the discretion of the Government. AMC: 3Z Application is F108 Engine. UID is required if theunit price exceeds $5,000. Requirement is not a Small BusinessSet-Aside. Requirement is Sole Source to CFM International Inc. It issuggested that small business firms or others interested insubcontracting opportunities in connection with the describedprocurement make contact with the firm(s) listed: CMI InternationalInc, Cincinnati OH 45246.
