- Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina has a requirement for contractor to provide Crown abd Bridge Procedure Service at the Community Base Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) located in Morehead City, NC. This requirement includes all procedures from pour up impressions to finished product. Full Gold Crown/Porcelain-fused gold crown units shall be a minimum of 2% gold metal. Fixed partial Denture Abutments and Pontics (Porcelain fused to Gold) shall be a minimum of 2% gold metal (price shall include the coat of gold based metal). Dies shall be returned for trimming by the dentist. Contractor shall pick up and deliver impressions, teeth, prescriptions, finished products, ect, from VAMC Morehead City Dental clinic on a daily basis Monday through Friday within four (4) hours of notification. Pick up and delivery shall be between the hours of 08:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., excluding Federal Holidays. It is the VA's intent to solicit offers and award one contract on a competitive basis. The applicable NAICS Code is 339116/ Dental Laboratories, size standard of 500. This acquisition is a Set Aside 100%, for Small Business procurement. Solicitation packages will be available on or about August 27, 2008. Solicitation closes at 4:00 p.m., EST, September 09, 2008.
