- 17th Contracting Squadron, Goodfellow AFB, Texas, intends to issue a solicitation for the Removal of existing stand alone A/C and Replacement with fan coil A/C in Bldg 3453 rooms 168/168B, located at the Goodfellow AFB, TX. This Solicitation, FA3030-08-T-0030, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Contractor shall furnish all layout, survey, plant, labor, supervision, quality control, materials, equipment, machines, tools, appliances, services, supplies, and incidentals required within the scope of this project. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 and the small business size standard is $13 Million dollars. The magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The anticipated period of performance shall be 45 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The entire solicitation will be made available on the Fedbizops website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 24 August 2008. The site visit will be held on about (O/A) 3 September 2008, and the Quote due date O/A 10 September 2008. Exact due dates for quotes will be listed in the solicitation. Paper copies will not be available. Email and fax requests will be honored. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The offeror shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (see CCR website at http:// ww.ccr.gov) and have completed the on-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://www.orca.bpn.gov. Award of the proposed contract cannot be made to the prospective offeror without proper registration. Funds are presently available for this project. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date.
