- Description
- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disease (NIDDK) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, with Andor Technology, 425 Sullivan Avenue, Suite #3, South Windsor, CT 06074 to procure an Ixon+EMCCD camera, 512X512,16um, EMCCD, BV, 10MHz, 100C, IXON PCI Controller Card, Oasis 150 Ultra Compact Chiller Unit. Andor Technology is the only known source capable of providing the required item. This action is under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253c (1) as set forth in FAR 6.3020-1. Only one responsible source and no other service of this nature will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received before the closing date of this announcement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that Request for Quotation (RFQ), NIHDK2008073 will be available fifteen days (15) after the publication of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due five (5) days after the release of the RFQ. Request for copies of the RFQ must be in writing to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, 6707 Democracy Blvd., Room 774A, Bethesda, MD, 20817 Attention: Lisa Josephowitz, josephol@mail.nih.gov FAX quotations must contain offerors names, address, telephone and fax number.
