- U.S. Customs and Border Protection intends to issue a sole source award to Alantic Aero, 6423 Airport Parkway, P.O. Box 35408, Greensboro, NC 27425, for a IO550L De-Turbo Kit Engine for T210M Cessna. The turbo kit will be installed into the subject aircraft N2431K to support the training mission of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Atlantic Aero is a professional facility that is the only licensee holder of the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for this engine installation of Teledyne Continental Motors IO-550-L in a Cessna T210M aircraft. They have all the necessary tools and equipment needed to assemble this engine installation kit. Atlantic Aero meets the requirements of the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations Part 21 (Certification of Parts), Part 23 (Certification of Aircraft) and Part 43 (Maintenance) the airworthy condition of the part.
