- The Marine Corps Logistics Base- Barstow, CA. intends to enter into a sole source contract for BK Portable VHF Radios with Relm Wireless Corp. This sole source requirement is pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), competitive proposals or proposals. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and must furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the product/service sought including pricing data and technical data, if applicable, sufficient to determine that a comparable source to the government is available. The Government will be the sole determiner regarding an Offerors ability to meet the requirement. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a comparable product is available and whether the requirement should be competed in the future. All responsible sources will be considered. The anticipated award date is 28 August 2008.
