Description
This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract for supplies or services. This procurement is for 3 Each of the Cable Assembly, Special (NSN: 6150-01-007-2819JX; P/N: 291761-1) for the BASIC YEAR of the Contract; Plus Four (4) OPTIONS. The 4 Options are as follows: OPTION ONE has a Quantity Range 1- 3 Each; OPTION TWO has a Quantity Range 1- 3 Each; OPTION THREE has a Quantity Range 1- 3 Each; and OPTION FOUR has a Quantity Range 1- 3 Each. The Government does NOT possess the necessary Data to manufacture or complete the item. SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED WITHIN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS FROM THIS NOTICE. This item is Sole Source to HONEYWELL INTERNATION, INC. (Cage Code: 99193). Other interested person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All proposals received within the 15 days after issuance of solicitation, or 30 days after the publication date of this synopsis will be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serous contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. When appropriate, potential offeror(s) may contact Ombudsman Alan Mathis (Director, WR-ALC/XP) at 478-926-4028. Please be prepared to identify previous contacts made by you in an attempt to resolve your concerns. (SEE CBD NOTE 22).
