- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. Solicitation Number Q8120080139 is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The National Park Service (NPS) has a requirement to haul, block, pressure wash, and paint NPS 100' vessel Ocean Ranger and 75' vessel Surf Ranger. This requirement also includes Option Items, such as remove & replace propellers, remove and replace shaft bearings, prepare & paint deck or compartments, additional painting, welding, removal and replacement of propellers, and lay days. Contractors will be evaluated on the following criteria: Technical Capability, Past Performance, and Price. All criteria will be weighted equally. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract. The Period of Performance for this contract is estimated to occur October 1, 2008 through November 30, 2008. This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 336611. The size standard is 1000 employees.
