Description
PRON: AX8F5258AX. The Government has a requirement for a quantity of 30 each of a STRUT ASSY, ROTOR SU, NSN: 1615-01-164-3790, Part Number: 7-311160055-2 applicable to the BJ-AH-64(APACHE). F.O.B. Origin with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002. The required delivery when First Article (FA) requirements are applicable is 30 each 420 days after contract award (DACA. The required delivery without First Article Testing is 30 each 280 (DACA). This item is restricted to Arden Engineering Inc., Cage Code: 64658 and McDonnel Douglas Helicopter Company, Cage Code 8V613. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
