- The 43rd Communications Squadron at Pope AFB, North Carolina, is in need of computer monitors. The information sought herein is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for quote (RFQ), request for proposal (RFP), and invitation for bid (IFB) or as an obligation or commitment on the part of the Government to acquire any product or service. There shall be no basis for claims against the government as a result of information submitted in response to the sources sought announcement. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this announcement or otherwise pay for any information submitted by respondents to this request. This notice is for market research purposes only and is not indicative of a full requirement. Should a full requirement arise, the full requirement will be detailed in the solicitation, if issued. The specifications of the computer monitors needed are as follows: QTY: 250 each Computer monitor, 22" LCD Flat panel, 1 analog RGB and 1 digital DVI, DC 8000:1, 1680 x 1050 resolution, 5 Ms response, dual voltage 110-240V 50/60 Hz AC power adapter, VESA 100, swivel tilt, height adjustable, pivot, TAA compliant. 3 Year advanced exchange with prepaid freight warranty, OCONUS 3 year prepaid depot warranty, Samsumg PN 2243 BWX-TAA or equal. An equal item must be accompanied by literature detailing product specifications. Sources Sought Instructions: A written response with detailed information is requested of those suppliers who can provide PC monitors meeting the required specifications. Detailed information shall include the vendor's capability of providing the required goods and current commercial availability. Responses to this notice are due on or before 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2008. Priority for consideration will be given to small businesses. Funds are not currently available for this requirement.
