- The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials, repair parts, and transportation necessary to perform pest management services at Fort Hood, Texas, in accordance with the contract. The Contractor shall perform all work in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations. All pest management chemicals shall be procured, processed, handled, and applied in strict accordance with the manufacturers label that shall be registered with the EPA and the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA). In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 23.302(d), contractors will be required to submit Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) with their proposal to be eligible for award. The period of performance will be for a base year plus four one-year options. Base Period: 1 Mar 09 29 Feb 10, 1st Option Period:1 Mar 10 29 Feb 11, 2nd Option Period: 1 Mar 11 29 Feb 12; 3rd Option Period1 Mar 12 29 Feb 13; and 4th Option Period: 1 Mar 13 29 Feb 14. The applicable codes for this requirement are: NAICS 561710, (SB size standard of $7.5M), SIC 7342 and FSC S207. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business concerns; no large business bids will be accepted. Invitation for Bids (IFB) W91151-08-B-0007 is tentatively schedule to be issued 25 September 2008 with a closing date of 27 October 2008. The Pest Management Contract includes but is not limited to: General Household Pest Control, Broadcast Bait for Fire Ant Control, Bee control, Wasp, Hornet, Yellow Jacket Control, Termite Treatment/Rod, Termite Treatment Trenching/Inject, Wood Destroying Pest Treatment, Ornamental Pest Control, Turf Insect Control, Arthropod Control, Bird & Nest Removal and Disposal, Rodent Control, Live Animal Control, Carcass Removal & Disposal, Odor Control, and Contractor Manpower Reporting. Award will be made to the bidder whose lowest evaluated price satisfies the Governments stated requirement. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at http://acquisition.army.mil. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of potential bidders to review this site frequently for any notification of changes or amendments to the solicitation documents. All inquiries regarding this acquisition must be made in writing to the contract specialist (email is acceptable). Interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award.
