- Description
- The intent of this solicitation is to obtain all necessary labor, materials, equipment and supervision to provide repair services to the power plant boiler/steam systems, and associated equipment and facilities at the Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT. This solicitation will be issued as an indefinite quantity contract for a base period and four 12-month option periods to be exercised if in the best interests of the Government without further notice. The NAICS Code is 238220. Size standard is $13,000,000. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 for the five years. The approximate date for release of the Invitation for Bid (IFB) is 09 October 2008. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format via the Internet. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view PDF files, can be downloaded from the Adobe website. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website.
