- The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, on behalf of the US Army Institute of Surgical Research (USAISR), has a requirement for the provision of services in multivariate regression analysis and logistic modeling of early predictors of trauma patient outcome. The provision of these biostatistical services requires in-depth knowledge of specific current ongoing research conducted at USAISR. USAMRAA intends to negotiate a sole source contract for the provision of these biostatistical services with The University of Miami, 1611 NW 12TH AVE STE 311, Miami, FL 33136. The intent is to make a sole source award pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document exists. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated capability within the est ablished timeframe is invited to submit written notification to the Contracting Officer within fifteen calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firms ability to provide the stated capability within the established timeframe. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer at: USAMRAA, ATTN: MCMR-AAA-G (Christopher Todd), 820 Chandler Street, Frederick, MD 21702-5014. No telephone requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, USAMRAA will proceed with the sole source contract.
