- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. The National Institutes of Health has a requirement to provide for the maintenance and repair of specialty finishes in support of the Association for the Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory animals Care (AAALAC) program. It is anticipated that award will be made for five (5) years. The implementation of each year will be at the Government’s discretion. This notice is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Items - Services, NAICS 238320 with size standard $13M. THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE PROCUREMENT. PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED. The solicitation number is NIHOF2008058. See the attached solicitation for the following additional information: Instructions for completion of solicitation package, Schedule of Commercial Services and Prices, Statement of Work and Applicable clauses 52.212-1, “Instructions for Offerors-Commercial Item”, 52.212-3, “Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items”, 52.212-4 “Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial Items” and 52.212-5 “Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Offerors will be evaluated in accordance with Section E-4 of the Solicitation. Proposals are due September 12, 2008 at 3:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. Late proposals will not be accepted.
