- The VA VISN 22 Network Logistics Office intends to negotiate sole source procurement in accordance with the FAR Part 13 with Fresenius USA Manufacturing Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This procurement is an addition to the Fresenius Hypercare software the VA San Diego, 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92357 currently uses. Fresenius Hypercare software links the patient hemodialysis treatments recording directly to CPRS patient files. The Hypercare Dialysis Management includes (1) License software (2) CPRS Interface (3) On-Site Training/Consulting/Implementation (4) Annual Maintenance & Support w/c includes database maintenance & software version upgrades (5) Server Hardware/Solaris-OS Software (6) Sun System Support (7) Solaris/Oracle Software Install-telnet,ftp set-up, configurations (8) Chairside machine communication/mounted data entry device/Configuration (9) Oracle License per station machine software ugrades (10) Hypercare User Manual, Courseware Manual, iBox Technical Reference Manual, Hypercare Installation CD for work stations. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will consider all quotes received by 12:00 PM, September 5, 2008. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
