- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, West Palm Beach Medical Center has a requirement to perform installation of up-grade to medical gas alarm panels. Remove old alarm and panel hard ware and transducer pressure sensors, leaving just the box (existing rough-in-box will be reused for the new complete retro-fit (Amico alarm panel display module, transducer pressure sensors, and new power supply). Once new Amico display module is installed and labeled, verify working condition of modules and certification and documentation for each unit. Perform installation of up-grade to medical gas master alarm panel transducer pressure sensors located in the basement interstitial, column E-20. Note: This is for all Med Gas listed in para F. All master alarm initiating devices (high low pressure switches, relays in source equipment) will be reused with the new master alarms. All power and control wiring will be reused. Contractor to provide the following new area alarm display panels (repair parts); 7 ea Oxygen Modules, 7 ea Medical Vacuum Modules, 7 ea Medical Air Modules, 7 ea Nitrogen Modules, 2 ea Lab Air Modules, 7ea Nitrous Oxide Modules, 2 ea Lab Vacuum Modules, 2 ea Dental Air Modules, and transducer pressure sensors for each module. Also 2 each module for each master panel in rooms BB204 & BB261 and transducer pressure sensors located in the basement interstitial, column E-20. This procurement is a Request for Quote (RFQ) to award a firm fixed price contract and is being solicited as Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE is 334519. Offerors are to be advised that an award may be made without discussion or any contract concerning the proposal received. However, the Government reserves the right to enter into discussion if deemed necessary. The Offerors within the competitive range will be afforded the opportunity to revise their proposal. Issue date for this proposal will be August 27, 2008 the proposals due date will be on or about September 10, 2008 @ 2:00PM Eastern Time. Proposals are to be by e-mail or mail. The Offerors must be sure that the proposal is received on time confirming by e-mail with confirmation. A telephone request for the solicitation will not be accepted or honored.
